With Cleopatra Beach, its historic castle and a lively seafront, Alanya is one of Antalya’s favourite resorts. You can fly into two airports: Antalya Airport (AYT) or Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP). Which one suits you best depends on your flights and where you are staying.
Antalya Airport (AYT)
- About 125 km from Alanya centre; the drive usually takes around 2 hours.
- Offers the widest choice thanks to many domestic and international flights.
- Areas west of Alanya such as Okurcalar, Avsallar and Konaklı are on the way and reached sooner.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP)
- About 40 km from Alanya centre; the drive takes around 40 minutes.
- Fewer flights, and some routes only operate in season.
- Especially convenient for Mahmutlar and hotels east of Alanya.
Which should you choose?
If you can find a suitable flight to Gazipaşa, the transfer is much shorter. If ticket prices or flight times make Antalya more attractive, a comfortable VIP vehicle makes the longer drive easy: air-conditioned, spacious seats and breaks planned around your needs.
